Welcoming your little one into the world is one of life's most precious moments. These early days pass so quickly, and every parent wishes they could slow time down and hold on to the tiny details forever — the soft curls, the tiny fingers, and those peaceful sleepy expressions.
As a specialist newborn photographer in Harlow, Essex, I have spent years perfecting a calm, safe and gentle approach to newborn photography. My studio is fully equipped for newborn comfort, and every session is designed to create a relaxed, warm and magical experience for both you and your baby.
The best time to book your newborn photoshoot is within the first 5–14 days after birth, when babies are still naturally curled up, sleepy, and comfortable being posed. This is the perfect window to capture their delicate features and preserve the innocence of their earliest days.

When should I schedule a newborn photography session?
It is recommended that you schedule your newborn photography session while you are still pregnant to ensure availability. The ideal time of the sessions to take place is within the first 2-3 weeks of the baby's birth. -
Where will the photography session take place?
The session will take place either in your home or in my professional newborn photography studio. -
How long does a typical newborn photography session take?
A typical newborn photography session lasts between 1.5-2.5 hours. This allows time for feeding, changing, and posing the baby. -
What should I bring to the studio session?
You should bring any special items you would like included in the photos, such as blankets, toys, or props. Additionally, you should bring any necessary items for your baby, such as nappies, food, dummy, etc. -
What should my baby wear for the session?
Any outfit you like, however, there is a large selection of handmade props and outfits available in my studio that you can choose from for the session. -
Can I include family members in the photos?
Yes, partners, children or other family members can be included. Please confirm prior to the session who you would like to take part in the photoshoot. -
How many photos will I receive from the session?
The session fee includes 3 images. You will receive a gallery of 15-20 edited photos to choose and to purchase from. -
How long does it take to receive the final photos?
It takes around 5 days to get your gallery from the day after your session. -
Can I request specific edits or retouching on the photos?
Your photos will be professionally retouched; we are happy to receive feedback from you, and we will do our best to adjust the edits based on this. -
What happens if I need to reschedule the session?
If you need to reschedule your session please give as much notice as possible.
